Volunteer Positions
CAFY is looking for volunteers that are interested in working for a non-profit organization providing crisis services for victims of domestic violence. Training is provided.
Community Advocates for Family & Youth (CAFY) is a full social services organization working to prevent, support and educate about violence and victimization. We serve victims of crimes to help reduce trauma, hold offenders accountable, and stabilize victims involved in violent crimes. Trained victim advocates provide crisis intervention, case management, court education and accompaniment and post-trial support.
With our Helpline, CAFY helps families deal with daily life issues associated with domestic violence or sexual assault. Trained helpline workers work to recognize the challenges and identify resources to any family given their challenges of physical, verbal, psychological, and sexual abuse. We believe by implementing a 24 hour helpline we can provide a safe and nonjudgmental resource for those affected by violence and seeking help and/or advice.
CAFY provides linguistically specific services to Hispanic victims as well.
